Azerbaijan posts over 30% surge in fruit and vegetable exports in 7 months

Between January and July this year, Azerbaijan exported 490,210.91 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $505.95 million, according to data from the State Customs Committee, Report informs.
Compared to the same period in 2024, the export value increased by 31.8%, while the volume rose by 33%.
Fruits and vegetables accounted for 27.17% of Azerbaijan’s total non-oil exports during this period.
In July alone, Azerbaijan exported 88,210.45 tons of fruits and vegetables worth $90.65 million — 1.8 times and 2 times more, respectively, than in July of the previous year.
Overall, in the seven months of the year, Azerbaijan conducted $28.84 billion worth of trade operations with foreign countries — a 7.25% increase year-on-year. Of this, $15.23 billion came from exports and $13.61 billion from imports. Exports dropped by 5.4%, while imports surged by 26.15% compared to the same period last year.
