Uzbek dorm explosion leaves 18 injured

A gas explosion occurred on November 29 morning in a dormitory for workers of one of the enterprises in Uzbekistan’s Tashkent city, leaving 18 people injured, Report informs referring to TASS.
The injured were hospitalized with burns of varying severity, the Uzbek Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement. There is no information about the victims.
The explosion reportedly could have occurred due to a gas leak.
An investigation into the causes of the incident is underway.
