Türkiye denounces Greece's statements on anniversary of Anatolia invasion attempt

Türkiye has denounced the baseless and arrogant statements made by Greek officials on the anniversary of Greece's attempt to invade and occupy Anatolia, Report informs, citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry.
"These statements contradict historical facts and the efforts aimed at developing friendly relations between the two countries. We call on the Greek authorities to refrain from acting on domestic political motives and from initiatives aimed at inciting hostility between the two peoples," the ministry said in a statement.
