Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar had a telephone conversation with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, Report informs, citing Anadolu.
Turkish and US defense ministers discussed security in the region. The parties also considered opportunities for bilateral cooperation in the field of defense.
Hulusi Akar and Lloyd Austin stressed the importance of strategic relations between Turkey and the United States, emphasizing the importance of resolving all issues in the spirit of partnership and alliance.
