Russia sees nearly 800 COVID deaths

Over the past day, medical experts recorded 22,804 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to the operational headquarters to combat the disease.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 6,288,677.

To date, a total of 159,352 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 789 deaths seen over the past day.
