Georgia starts the mass vaccination of its population against coronavirus today.

During the day, it is planned to vaccinate around 20,000 to 30,000 people. Georgia is planning to vaccinate 60% of its adult population to achieve herd immunity by the end of the year.
The South Caucasus country procured a million doses of Sinopharm and Sinovac vaccines on July 2, which will be used in the mass vaccinations. The country will also use 5,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine donated by Austria and delivered to Tbilisi last night.
