Public transport has resumed its operation in major Georgian cities as of today.
According to Report's local bureau, after a month-long break, the Tbilisi metro and buses began to serve passengers.
The government will strictly control the use of protective masks on public transport.
Notably, public transport has been suspended since August 14 due to the worsening of the epidemiological situation. Although the ban is expected to be lifted on September 4, the country extended the deadline until September 13.
