Georgia, Kazakhstan sign strategic partnership statement

Georgia and Kazakhstan have signed a statement on strategic partnership.
Report's Georgia bureau informs that the statement provides for raising relations between the two countries to the level of strategic partnership.
The document was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In addition, relevant agencies of Georgia and Kazakhstan signed memorandums of understanding on cooperation in culture, information technology and tourism.
The signed documents are expected to contribute to the further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as to strengthening the strategic partnership.
