Iranian authorities have put forward conditions to the US for resuming talks on a peaceful settlement of the conflict.
Report informs via Fars News that the conditions include ending the war on all fronts, especially in Lebanon, lifting anti-Iranian sanctions, releasing frozen Iranian funds, compensating for damage caused by the war, and recognizing Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
The source of Fars said the set of conditions was defined solely to create a minimum level of trust and return to the negotiation process.
It was noted that Iran had also conveyed to the Pakistani mediator that the continuation of the naval blockade in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman after a ceasefire is established further increases distrust toward talks with the US.
