EAEU and Iran to sign free trade agreement soon

"Signing of the agreement on the creation of the free trade zone between Iran and the EAEU is scheduled with us to the last days of December," Russian President Vladimir Putin said during talks with his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi, Report informs via TASS.
"We continue working right up to the New Year. The signing of the agreement on the creation of the free trade zone between Iran and the EAEU is scheduled with us to the last days of December. This will create further opportunities to broaden our interaction," Putin said.
The preferential regime in trade is now in place between the EAEU countries and Iran on the basis of the temporary agreement of May 17, 2018.
