Dar, Fidan discuss forthcoming US-Iran memorandum signing

Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

Report informs, citing Pakistan's Foreign Ministry, that the two ministers welcomed the recent understandings reached between the United States and Iran.

They also exchanged views on the forthcoming signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, on June 19, 2026.

The ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming Regional Four (R-4) Foreign Ministers' meeting to be held later this month.

Dar and Fidan also exchanged views on Pakistan-Türkiye bilateral relations and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the longstanding brotherly ties between the two countries.
