Azerbaijan's natural gas output approached 21 bcm in Jan.-May

In January–May of 2026, Azerbaijan produced just over 20.935 billion cubic meters of natural gas, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
Of the total volume, 16.305 billion cubic meters fell to commercial natural gas.
During the reporting period, natural gas output rose by 0.1% year-on-year (YoY), while commercial gas production increased by 0.7% YoY.
In the past five months, Azerbaijan also produced just over 11.06 million tons of crude oil, including gas condensate, of which 11.033 million tons fell to commercial crude oil.
Compared with January–May 2025, crude oil and commercial oil production volumes declined by 3.3%.
