BSEC secretary-general due in Georgia

Secretary-General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) Lazar Comanescu will visit Georgia today, Report informs with reference to the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
During his visit, which will last until October 19, Comanescu will meet with Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani. The officials will discuss prospects for economic cooperation in the Black Sea basin and the security situation in the region.
The BSEC Secretary-General will also meet with the head of the Georgian Parliament's Culture Committee, Eliso Bolkvadze.
Georgia is chairing the BSEC from July 1 to December 31, 2021.
