Bishkek to impose a state of emergency

The President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov has signed a decree on imposing a state of emergency in Bishkek starting 20:00 today.
The regime will be in force until 08:00 on October 21, Report says, citing TASS.
Kyrgyz Deputy Interior Minister Almazbek Orozaliyev has been appointed commandant of the capital.
The General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces was instructed to send troops to Bishkek to maintain law and order and prevent armed clashes.
