Armenian presidential candidate supports improving relations with Turkey

Armenian presidential candidate from the ruling Civil Contract party Vahagn Khachaturian has supported the establishment of peace with Azerbaijan and the repair of relations with Turkey, Report informs referring to Interfax.
“One can and should live with neighbors only in peaceful conditions. The thesis of ‘peace enforcement’ is outdated. We should all be aware that peace is the only form of development and life. Nothing can be achieved by coercion,” Khachaturian said on the air of the Public Television of Armenia.
He also stated that he has a positive attitude towards the Armenian-Turkish dialogue that has begun. Khachaturian said that “relations can be normalized without preconditions.”
