Taghiyev: Oil premieres in Rome

The premiere of Taghiyev: Oil, a new Azerbaijani feature film, was held at the open-air cinema Casa del Cinema in the historic Villa Borghese park in Rome.

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture told Report that the event was attended by representatives of Italy's cultural and film communities, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the Azerbaijani diaspora, and numerous art enthusiasts.

Speakers before the screening highlighted the rich legacy of Haji Zeynalabdin Taghiyev, the renowned philanthropist and educator who played a significant role in Azerbaijan's economic, social, and cultural development in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They emphasized the importance of the film in introducing international audiences to the life and achievements of this outstanding historical figure.

The Ministry noted that the film was received with great interest by the audience.
