Armenian MP: Authorities have connections with drug mafia

Those in the leadership of Armenia have connections with the drug mafia, Andranik Tevanyan, MP from the Armenia opposition bloc, told journalists on May 18, Report informs.
According to him, without the protection of the authorities, the amount of illegal drug trade would not reach one billion dollars. The deputy said that the illegal circulation of drugs in Armenia reached about 4 tons, which is close to 1 billion dollars:
"The authorities cannot avoid such a large amount."
