Additional police forces called to Georgia's Marneuli

Additional police forces have been deployed in the Shulaver village of Georgia's Marneuli region, Report informs.
It is due to the demonstrations scheduled by the villagers at 5 o'clock today.
Yesterday, Zaur Dargalli, a member of the Georgian Dream Party, said that the opposition United National Movement Party (UMP) was planning a provocation in Shulaver. According to him, the village was planning to march and close the highway demanding the return of former President Mikheil Saakashvili.
Azad Karimov, a spokesman for the UMP, told reporters that the event would be held in protest of the price increase. He noted that the event was postponed.
