Ukraine sees record number of COVID cases

Over the past day, Ukrainian doctors have registered 23,785 new cases of coronavirus infection, 614 patients died from complications of the disease caused by the infection, according to the Ukraine Healthcare Ministry.
These rates are the highest in the country since the start of the pandemic, Report informs citing TASS.
The ministry added that 95 percent of patients hospitalized last week are unvaccinated people. At the same time, the ministry noted, over the past 24 hours a record number of people have been vaccinated - almost 270,000.
For the entire period of the pandemic, Ukraine reported more than 2.7 million cases of coronavirus infection, 63,003 deaths. More than 6.8 million people have been vaccinated with two doses.
