US President Donald Trump signed a temporary spending bill into law on Sunday night to avoid a government shutdown, Report says, citing RIA Novosti.
The US Senate voted unanimously earlier on Sunday to pass a one-day federal funding extension to avoid a government shutdown at midnight, giving lawmakers more time to pass a $900 billion COVID-19 aid package tied to a larger government spending bill.
The measure has already passed the House of Representatives and now heads to President Donald Trump to sign into law.
