Number of COVID cases globally exceeds 228 million

As of September 20 morning, the number of diagnosed cases of coronavirus infections in the world has reached 228,541,752, according to the Johns Hopkins University, Report informs referring to Interfax.
Since the virus began to spread, the number of victims of COVID-19 has reached 4,691,866.
The US, India and Brazil are countries with over 20 million infection cases.
The US remains the leader in terms of the number of people infected and deaths, where 42,087,485 infected with COVID were detected, and the number of deaths since the beginning of the epidemic has grown to 673,765.
