A power plant and a water desalination facility in Kuwait were damaged as a result of Iranian strikes, according to Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy (MEWRE), Report informs via local media outlets.
According to the ministry, the attack damaged facilities at the plant, caused a fire, and disabled energy‑producing equipment.
In this regard, the ministry called on citizens to use electricity sparingly under emergency conditions, noting that public support would help restore the damaged infrastructure.
In recent days, Iran has been carrying out strikes on Gulf countries hosting US bases. These attacks are described as retaliatory, as the US has been targeting Iran's infrastructure.
