Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan discuss expanding cooperation in higher education

Kazakhstan's Minister of Science and Higher Education, Sayasat Nurbek, has held a meeting with Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Kazakhstan, Aghalar Atamoglanov.

According to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Science and Higher Education, cited by Report's Kazakhstan bureau, during the meeting, the sides discussed the internationalization of higher education, the development of bilateral cooperation in science and higher education, and the expansion of academic ties.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing academic mobility for students and faculty, implementing joint educational programs, and broadening international partnerships.

The parties also exchanged views on attracting international students to Kazakhstan's higher and postgraduate education institutions, introducing international best practices, and increasing the export potential of educational services.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants reaffirmed their commitment to further developing mutually beneficial cooperation and advancing the internationalization of higher education.
