On July 3, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric discussed the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as developments in the region, with EU Special Representative for the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue Peter Sørensen in Brussels, Report informs.
Djuric emphasized Belgrade's commitment to dialogue with Pristina.
According to the minister, despite the prolonged political instability in Pristina, Belgrade hopes for the rapid establishment of conditions for resuming high-level dialogue.
He noted that the next stage of negotiations should focus primarily on the full implementation of the agreements already reached.
Djuric recalled that the Association/Community of Serb-Majority Municipalities has not yet been established due to Pristina's obstruction and failure to fulfill its commitments under the Brussels Agreement.
"From Serbia's perspective, the establishment of the association remains a priority and is seen as a key foundation for strengthening the institutional capacity of the Serbian population in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as for protecting their collective rights," the minister emphasized.
