Israel's new President, Isaac Herzog, will be sworn in on July 7, Report informs, citing the Israeli press.
According to the information, Isaac Herzog will go to the President's residence after taking the oath in the Israeli parliament. For the first time, an official ceremony of replacing the presidents will be held there.
Notably, Herzog was born in 1960. The son of the 6th President of Israel, Chaim Herzog, the chief rabbi of the Jewish state Ishaq Galevi, is Herzog's grandson. The 11th President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, attended a state religious school. He served in the military intelligence platoon. He was a former chairman of the Avod Party and head of the Jewish agency Sokhnut.
