IDF strikes Houthi targets in Hodeidah Port, Yemen

The IDF struck the Houthi-controlled Hodeidah Port in Yemen on Tuesday, which is used by the terrorist regime for the transfer of weapons supplied by the Iranian regime, according to the military, Report informs via The Jerusalem Post.

"The strike was carried out in response to the repeated attacks by the Houthi terrorist regime against the State of Israel, including the launch of UAVs and surface-to-surface missiles towards the State of Israel," read the statement.

Houthi-linked media reported that at least 12 strikes in different piers of the Hodeidah port, with at least three of them suffering significant damage.

The strike comes after the Arabic Spokesperson Col. Avichay Adraee warned civilians to evacuate the area. Adraee urged ships anchored at the port to evacuate, and warned that anyone who remains "puts their life in danger."

The IDF on Tuesday issued an urgent evacuation order for Yemen's Red Sea port of Hodeidah, warning it would carry out strikes there in the coming hours, Report informs via Ynet.

In a statement published in Arabic by military spokesperson Lt. Col. Avichay Adraee, Israel said the attack was in response to "military activity by the Houthi terror regime" in the area.

"For your safety, we call on everyone present in Hodeidah port and the ships anchored there to evacuate immediately," the statement said. "Anyone who remains in the area is endangering his life."
