Global COVID tally exceeds 116 million

More than 116 million people worldwide have been infected with the coronavirus since the pandemic onset, Report informs with reference to the US Johns Hopkins University.
Also, over the past day, the global COVID death toll increased to 2.5 million. Meanwhile, 65.6 million people fully recovered from the disease.
Countries with 10 million or more COVID cases include the US, India, and Brazil. The US leads the list with 28.8 million registered cases.
