Germany's COVID incidence nears 30,000

Germany recorded 29,518 new cases of coronavirus infection and 259 COVID-related deaths over the past day, Report informs, citing the Robert Koch Institute of the Federal German Health Ministry.
According to the institute, 3,217,710 people have contracted the novel coronavirus in Germany.
To date, the country’s COVID death toll has exceeded 80,893.
A day earlier, the country reported 24,884 new cases and 331 deaths.
On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of the new coronavirus infection a pandemic.
