Iran strikes Kuwait's oil and energy facilities

Since early morning, Kuwait's Armed Forces have been detecting ballistic missile and drone strikes in the country's airspace, Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense's Spokesman Colonel Saud Al-Atwan said, Report informs, citing the ministry's press service.
According to Al-Atwan, the missiles were neutralized, but Iran's strikes were directed at military and security sites, as well as oil, energy, and water infrastructure.
"Several facilities caught fire, causing significant material damage. During firefighting and restoration efforts, several firefighters and oil sector workers were injured. They are receiving necessary medical care," he said.
Debris from intercepted missiles fell in multiple areas, including residential districts, causing property damage. No civilians were injured.
A fire breaks out at a power generation and water desalination plant in Kuwait after an Iranian attack, Kuwait's Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Ministry said, adding that several power generation units have been shut down, Report informs via The Times of Israel.
It says efforts were underway to contain the fire and carry out repairs
No information has yet been released regarding possible casualties.
