EU plans to unlock €550mn for Hungary to secure Russian energy sanctions

The European Commission plans to unfreeze about €550 million in EU funds to Hungary as Brussels seeks to overcome Prime Minister Viktor Orban's veto against more sanctions that will target Russian energy imports, according to Financial Times, Report informs.
Earlier today, EC President Ursula von der Leyen announced that the 19th sanctions package against Russia significantly tightens restrictions in the energy and financial sectors.
