EU, France to sign €15B defense loan

The European Union (EU) and France will sign a 15-billion-euro (17.42 billion USD) loan on Wednesday through the EU's Security Action for Europe (SAFE) program, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Monday, Report informs via Xinhua.
The words came at a press conference on the Group of Seven (G7) summit.
The three-day summit kicked off on Monday in Evian, a town in eastern France. It will focus on a range of issues, including the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the Middle East tensions, balanced and sustainable economic growth, as well as artificial intelligence development, according to the agenda.
