Adilbek Uulu: OTS has potential to overcome global challenges

In the face of global uncertainty, the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) may become an important source of solutions, Shumkarbek Adilbek uulu, deputy director of the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives under the President of Kyrgyzstan, said at the conference "The Organization of Turkic States as a Regional Player in the Age of Global Uncertainty" in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, the modern world is experiencing chaos: events in the Middle East and the war in Ukraine clearly demonstrate the growth of threats and risks, including for the countries of Central Asia.

"In the face of global challenges-wars, climate change, and hybrid threats-strengthening cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States is crucial. Today, the OTS is becoming a corridor between the countries of Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and Anatolia, meaning the organization has great potential," Adilbek uulu noted.

He emphasized that the organization has the potential to resolve problems in a wide range of areas-from countering disinformation in cyberspace to reducing climate risks and protecting critical infrastructure."
