5.4-magnitude quake hits Japan

A magnitude 5.4 earthquake shook the Japanese island of Hokkaido, said the country's Main Meteorological Department.
Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that the epicenter was located at a depth of 130 km. The tremors were also felt in four neighboring prefectures.
According to preliminary data, there is no danger of a tsunami. The authorities did not inform about any casualties or damage.
