MEDIA: Another disinformation campaign begun against Azerbaijan

Recently, a new disinformation campaign against Azerbaijan has been observed in information resources and social media segments of several countries, the Media Development Agency of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) said in a statement, Report informs.

The agency noted that some of the disseminated information contained fake news about Azerbaijan allegedly arming Ukraine through a third country, while other parts included claims that do not reflect the truth about Azerbaijan's possible refusal to participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in case if Israel gets banned.

MEDIA stated that the re-circulation of such materials in Turkish media and social media segments under the influence of fake news spreading disinformation against Azerbaijan causes deep regret.

The agency has called on the international community, media resources, journalists and public activists not to believe such disinformation and fake news, and urged them to demonstrate principled positions and vigilance against such cases.
