"The events of February 26, 1992, which resulted in the massacre of civilians as a result of external aggression in the Azerbaijani city of Khojaly, will forever remain in the memory not only of the Azerbaijani people but of every caring person," said the Ukrainian embassy in Azerbaijan.
"The Ukrainian people share the grief of the Azerbaijani people because they also remember that Ukrainians were forced to fight for their lives due to deliberate repression and artificial starvation by the Soviet government in 1932-1933," the diplomatic mission said.
