UN-Habitat: Over 120 stakeholders share special feedback on progress

During the interim review process, more than 120 stakeholders provided their special feedback on progress, Edlam Abera, Head of the Knowledge and Advocacy Division of UN-Habitat, said during an event held within the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

Abera stressed that, in addition to national reports, UN-Habitat ensured a globally inclusive process by engaging stakeholders and actors worldwide: "More than 20 UN agencies participated in this interim review process. Over 120 stakeholders shared their special feedback, and we held numerous discussions. Our webinars and debates were extremely lively in terms of contributions."

She added that sessions aimed at capacity-building for the New Urban Agenda were also organized, with thousands of participants representing all stakeholders: "Thus, at this critical moment for the New Urban Agenda, we carried out this process to ensure that progress assessment is inclusive and reflects the perspectives and voices of everyone interested in this agenda."
