Alberto Petrilic: Peru interested in Baku's urban development

The example of Baku in urban development is of interest to Peru, stated Alberto Petrilik, Advisor to the Mayor of the Peruvian city of Chancay, at WUF13 in Baku, Report informs.

He said that it is important to develop urban plans based on past experience and to move from a reactive to a proactive approach in city planning.

He noted that Baku is viewed as an example of sustainable development, particularly in terms of the potential of coastal planning and managing infrastructure risks, including water supply and sanitation.
