Anglo Asian publishes initial resource estimate for Gilar field in Azerbaijan

Anglo Asian Mining has published a maiden resource estimate for its Gilar deposit in Azerbaijan of 6.10 million tonnes of mineralization with average grades of 0.88% copper and 1.30g/t gold, Report informs, citing foreign media.
In-situ mineral resources therefore are 54,000 tonnes of copper, 255,000 ounces of gold and 46,000 tonnes of zinc.
Development of the Gilar deposit is now well underway, with the construction of the primary transport decline tunnel and a ventilation tunnel at depths of 561 meters of the main decline and 150 meters respectively.
