Global Media Group holds chess tournament among employees

Employees of media organizations under Global Media Group have participated in a chess tournament held in Baku.

According to Report, the event took place at the Republican Chess Center with the support of the Azerbaijan Chess Federation and the Baku City Youth and Sports Department.

The tournament brought together staff from Report, Global Management, Baku TV, Caliber, Oxu.az, and Baku.ws.

Matches were played under the Swiss system format over seven rounds.

First place was claimed by Oxu.az representative Zaur Hasanaliyev. Report employee Sanan Aghamalizada secured second place, while Baku.ws representative Rafael Rustamov finished third.

Winners were awarded cash prizes, certificates, and chess sets. All other participants received certificates of appreciation.
