Azerbaijan and Türkiye continue joint efforts to combat doping

Türkiye and Azerbaijan continue to play an active role in promoting clean sport, upholding sporting ethics, and combating doping at the international level, Türkiye"s Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Safa Kocaoğlu Gürsoy, told journalists.

According to Report, she spoke about the third official meeting of the Approval Committee of the Fund for the Elimination of Doping in Sport.

"The forum served as an important platform for discussing international partnerships and exchanging views on the measures countries are taking to combat doping. We want athletes to compete in an honest and fair environment, and we believe that the fight against doping should not be limited to test results or specific sanctions alone. This process must also be supported through education and scientific research," Gürsoy said.
