MES: Fire in 16-story residential building extinguished

The fire brigade of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished the fire that broke out in a 16-story residential building in the Narimanov district, Report informs, citing the ministry.

As a result of the fire, the insulating sheath of the electric cable passing through the well of the building (from the 1st floor to the 16th floor) burned. The apartments were protected from fire.

During the fire, rescuers from the Special Risk Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations evacuated three people from the smoked apartments to a safe area.
