Teams from different countries confirm participation in Cyberwar in Smart Cities in Azerbaijan

On October 9-10, the Cyberwar in Smart Cities international competition will be held in Baku as part of the CIDC-2025 forum, with the participation confirmed by teams from a number of countries, Report informs referring to Azerbaijan's State Service for Special Communications and Information Security.

The agreements were reached at the Regional Cybersecurity Week - 2025 held in Rabat (Morocco).

Deputy Head of the Main Department of the State Service, member of the OIC-CERT Board Tural Mammadov spoke at the event, talking about Azerbaijan's work to protect critical information infrastructure, develop public-private partnerships, and apply best practices in preventing cyber threats.

The main goal of the competition and the forum is to strengthen regional cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, protect critical facilities and ensure sustainable digital development.
