Features of next generation Wi-Fi revealed

Chipmakers including Broadcom, Qualcomm, and MediaTek have entered the early stages of developments for their respective Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) chips, Report informs, citing Digitimes.
The successor to Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), will be able to transmit data at twice the speed, as well as increase coverage. The new wireless standard will work on previous modems.
According to experts, the technology of the new standard will be ready in 2-3 years.
