Turkey names its COVID-19 vaccine

Coronavirus vaccine developed by Turkey is called TURKOVAC.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced the vaccine, Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
On June 22, the volunteers received the first dose of the third phase of the local vaccine.
Erdogan attended the ceremony through the video-conferencing.
"With the first application of the third phase, Turkey is opening the doors of a new period in this field. "In a few weeks, we will be able to vaccinate all people over the age of 18 in our country," he said.
