Russian doctor reveals when COVID pandemic might end

Russian freelance pulmonologist of the Healthcare Ministry in the Central Federal District Andrey Malyavin said that thanks to vaccination, the COVID pandemic in the Russian Federation might end in mid-2021, Report informs.
"I think that by the middle of the year, we will practically forget about the pandemic," the doctor said.
He clarified that this would happen due to the formation of herd immunity due to mass vaccination and a large number of people who recovered from COVID.
