The US company Pfizer informed the Administration of President Donald Trump that it could not provide enough additional doses of the coronavirus vaccine until the end of June or July 2021, as other states have bought up most of the stocks. Report says, citing the Russian press.
According to the publication, this suggests that the US government probably will not increase Pfizer's vaccine supply as quickly as planned. It raises doubts about whether the country's authorities will be able to adhere to the schedule and vaccinate most citizens by the end of spring or early summer.
Earlier, the American giant Pfizer and the German company BioNTech applied for registration of their coronavirus vaccine in the European Union.
