Global COVID case count exceeds 160 million

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the world has exceeded 160 million, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities, media, and other open sources.
According to the university, now the total number of cases is 160,450,504.
In total, 3,331,258 patients with diagnosed COVID-19 have died due to coronavirus-related health complications.
The United States ranks first in terms of the number of infections, with over 32.8 million cases. India (over 23.7 million) and Brazil (over 15.3 million) rank second and third, respectively.
