WUF13 Polish delegation visits Lankaran

Polish delegates of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) have visited Lankaran.

Report informs that the Polish delegation familiarized themselves with the region's tourism opportunities, historical sites and tea plantations.

During the visit, the Polish delegates toured Lankaran's nature, attractions and historical monuments. The guests were briefed in detail on the district's tourism potential and rich cultural heritage.

Aleksandra Tomaszewska, representative of the Poland-Azerbaijan Association, and Mariusz Sagan, Director of the Strategy and Investor Relations Department at Lublin City Hall, said friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Poland are developing.

The guests noted that they had received detailed information about Lankaran's history, geographical location and socio-economic development and would speak about it in their country.
