Bahrain condemns Iranian attacks, says security cannot be achieved through missiles and drones

Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned Iran's attacks against its territory as well as Iranian strikes targeting Kuwait.

According to Report, the ministry emphasized the high state of readiness of the armed forces of Bahrain and Kuwait and their ability to repel any attack.

It said the Iranian strikes constituted "a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the two states, a serious breach of the UN Charter and international norms, and a continued disregard for the decisions of the international community."

"Such actions threaten the security and stability of countries in the region. Security is not achieved through missiles and drones, and stability cannot be ensured by laying naval mines," the statement said.

Bahrain also called for the establishment of a secure international humanitarian corridor for civilian vessels and urged efforts to enable the return home of more than 20,000 seafarers who remain stranded in the region.
