US Embassy says 'proud to support ANAMA and its courageous deminers'

On this International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action, the United States expresses condolences to the victims and their family members who have suffered from landmines and unexploded ordnance in the conflict affected areas, said the Embassy of the United States of America in Baku, Report informs.
"We are proud to support ANAMA and its courageous deminers. To promote regional peace and cooperation, the US has provided $2.5 million since November 2021 for humanitarian demining operations in areas affected by the conflict," it tweeted.
